Saugerties broke a 2-2 tie with a two-run fourth and blew the game open with an eight-run sixth in a 12-2 win over Glens Falls on Sunday at Cantine Field, a game shortened to seven innings. The Dragons collected seven hits, drew three walks and did not score after the second inning. The loss dropped the Dragons to 13-28 and closed out the regular season.

Will Rudolph gave Glens Falls its only lead in the second, doubling home Billy Barthel and Derek Diaz. Saugerties tied it in the third on Case McClelland's sacrifice fly and Aiden Schmidt's RBI double, then went ahead for good in the fourth on Danny Surowiec's two-run homer. The sixth did the rest: Christian Bernardini opened it with a solo home run, Steven Ramirez stole home, Magnus Krieger was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, Michael Lebenson walked in a run, Anthony Depetro scored on a passed ball, Schmidt added a second sacrifice fly and Bernardini capped the inning with a two-run double. Bernardini finished with two hits and three RBI, Surowiec went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI, and Ramirez and Nick Croce each had two hits. Diaz led the Dragons with two hits, while Rene Vega, Jack Ploppert, Giorgio Pantepinto, Barthel and Rudolph had one apiece.

Tyler Weygard took the loss, allowing two runs on two hits over three innings. Alex Kerr was charged with six runs on seven hits and two homers in two innings, and Alex Landon gave up four in an inning of relief. Rudy Cherry struck out five over 4.2 innings for Saugerties, and Vincent Fusco earned the win with 2.1 scoreless innings and four strikeouts.
